Chicaiza is a graduate of Georgetown University with a Master of Science in Health and the Public Interest (HAPI). They earned their Bachelor of Art in Studio Art and completed the pre-medicine track at Dartmouth College. Before joining MSK, they were a bilingual research assistant at the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center from 2018 to 2022. Chicaiza is currently a Research Project Associate for Dr. Jada Hamilton’s IMAGINE Study.

In their free time, Chicaiza loves reading graphic novels and comics, especially those recommended by the Graphic Medicine International Collective of academics and clinicians.
