Dr. Christian-Afflu is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Genomics, Risk, and Health Decision-Making Laboratory, receiving mentorship from Dr. Jada Hamilton and Dr. Jennifer Leng (MSK Immigrant Health and Cancer Disparities Service). She received a PhD in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health, an MPH in Community Health Education from CUNY School of Public Health, and a BA in Psychology from Barnard College. She is interested in investigating strategies that address health disparities by preventing the onset and/or progression of cancer through screening. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and visiting art museums.
