The Braunstein Laboratory is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of breast cancer through innovative radiotherapy techniques, combination therapies, and precision medicine approaches. By integrating contemporary research findings with clinical practice, we aim to develop, implement and enhance the effectiveness of breast cancer treatment. Our multidisciplinary team of oncologists, biostatisticians, and researchers works collaboratively to study the complexities of breast cancer care, striving to improve oncologic outcomes and limit the toxicities of treatment. We are committed to exploring novel radiotherapy regimens, uncovering the genetic factors that influence treatment responses, and designing targeted strategies to manage and treat localized, recurrent and metastatic breast cancers. Through our research efforts, we seek to hone the use of various forms of breast radiotherapy and optimize their application for the most appropriate scenarios.
