The annual Pharmacology Graduate Program Retreat is held each spring outside of New York City and features talks by 3rd and 5th year students and a poster session for other students and postdocs. The 2010 retreat on May 21-22 was held at the Dolce Hotels and Resort in Norwalk, Connecticut. Anthony Davis presented a talk on his research in rational drug design of adenylation enzyme inhibitors as novel antibiotics targeting bacterial siderophore biosynthesis. The scientific meeting was complemented by a wide range of activities, including the annual faculty vs. student basketball game and a hotly-contested Tan lab doubles ping pong match!
