Our view is that outcomes feedback is more useful when benchmarked against a larger rather than a small number of other clinicians. For instance, a surgeon may have the best results at a particular hospital, but actually have rather moderate outcomes when compared to surgeons at another hospital. Accordingly, we actively promote multi-institutional collaborations. Members of the Amplio team have experience in establishing data sharing between institutions in a fashion that protects patient privacy and clinician confidentiality and meets regulatory requirements.
