The Grants and Contracts unit manages government, non-government, and other non-industry sponsored research agreements and contracts to ensure that they are consistent with Memorial Sloan Kettering business practices and applicable sponsor regulations. It provides the following services:
- Supporting the Memorial Sloan Kettering research community during development and submission of responses to contract-specific Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other contract or agreement mechanisms
- Analyzing and interpreting terms and conditions of sponsored research agreements and contracts including those associated with the FAR, DFAR, CFR, and other sponsor contracting regulations
- Applying a firm understanding of Memorial Sloan Kettering business and finance principles, policies, procedures and guidelines when negotiating contract terms, including those related to effort, rebudgeting, cost accounting, and sponsor regulations
