Danny Luan is a rising third-year resident in internal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine. He was born in New York City and grew up in Ann Arbor, MI, where he attended college at the University of Michigan and also completed a masters in public health prior to returning to New York City for medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College. He plans to apply for fellowship in hematology-oncology this upcoming cycle. His research experience has primarily been in cancer epidemiology, which he started working in as a medical student at Cornell and has published papers working in SEER-Medicare and other large cohort studies of patients with cancer. With the Shouval lab, he is currently studying patterns of immune reconstitution and outcomes following CAR-T.
