Dr. Marina Gómez-Llobell (MD, MS) is a research fellow specializing in hematological malignancies in the Roni Shouval Lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). During her medical residency at Gregorio Marañón Hospital (Madrid), she gained extensive experience in the diagnosis, therapy, and long-term care of patients with hematologic malignancies. She holds a medical degree from the University of Barcelona. Following her interest in research, she completed a Master of Science in Molecular Oncology from URJC, and a specialist certificate in CAR-T cell therapy from VIC University. Her exposure to the immunologic aspects of these diseases sparked her interest in the pathophysiology of CAR-T cell therapy. She plans to continue her work in the field, focusing on both clinical practice and research. She is currently working on projects related to the efficacy and toxicity in CAR-T patients with lymphoma.
